My name is Angel Carlson. I have been involved with fostering and training dogs for over 10 years, including over a year of socializing and training puppies for NEADS (service dogs). Our five very social resident dogs, LuLu, Wally, George, Beatrice & Norman, are always excited to welcome new guests!
I’ve always been empathetic to animals, but my love of dogs really blossomed when I began volunteering to socialize and train puppies who would then go on to become service dogs.
Eventually I was ready to get my own first puppy, LuLu, a Boston Terrier mix. Together, we became a therapy dog team and earned her CGC certification by her first birthday. In the past 10 years, we’ve trained together in Canine Freestyle, Nose Work, Agility and have earned three AKC Titles for Tricks.
Our family has fostered and hosted many different breeds of dogs and dealt with numerous issues, from difficult behavioral issues to complicated medical issues. We are experienced with insulin injections, blood glucose testing, and medication administration of all types. We are especially happy to help those owners whose dogs are not appropriate for kennel boarding, like seniors, shy dogs, raw-fed dogs, and dogs who need a little extra attention due to medical issues such as diabetes or epilepsy.
Our home is located in a very quiet neighborhood and offers a fully secured deck leading to a large, fenced dog yard. We offer family-style boarding and your dog will quickly become a part of our family while we enjoy having them as our guest!
